My Sister’s Place is thrilled to welcome Jennifer Bero to the role of Executive Director of My Sister’s Place. With a heart for the homeless, rich leadership and non-profit experience, and most importantly an unwavering trust in Christ, Jennifer’s appointment was unanimously confirmed by the Executive Board of My Sister’s Place.

Jennifer Bero is a seasoned servant leader with a passion for ending homelessness.

Prior to joining My Sister’s Place, Bero spent 10 years at Embrace Families, a recognized national leader in child welfare services. In her most recent role, Bero served as Pathways to Home Program Director, responsible for housing stabilization program leadership and development, quality improvement and grant/funding compliance. Bero also served as a founding board member of the Federation of Families of Central Florida, a family-run nonprofit organization serving caregivers of children and youth having mental illness.

Bero received her Bachelor of Science in Social Services and Masters in Leadership from Belhaven University. She resides in Braselton, GA with her husband and two children and enjoys visits with her grandbaby.
