In 1 Peter 4:9, we are reminded to “Cheerfully share your home with those who need a meal or a place to stay.” Here at MSP, this isn’t just a verse; it’s at the core of everything we do. Thanks to your incredible support throughout 2026, we aren’t just opening doors; we are opening our hearts to build a lasting, joyful community where women and children can find a fresh start.

The need here in Gainesville is growing rapidly, with hundreds of qualified families turned away due to limited space. Instead of stepping back, we are stepping forward in faith and making room for more. God is opening doors for us to expand our home, and we are so excited to invite you to be a part of this next chapter.

There are so many wonderful, cheerful ways you can share your time, resources, and love with our residents today:

• Share Your Support: Mark your calendars for our 27th Annual Fundraising Gala on Thursday, January 28, 2027, featuring The Andrews Brothers Dueling Pianos! You can also support us by becoming a monthly Hope Hero, sending us supplies directly via our Amazon Registry, or by shopping at our Resale Boutique where every purchase funds shelter operations.
• Share Your Time: Do you have a knack for cooking, budget planning, or resume building? Cheerful hearts are needed for our one-hour evening volunteer slots (Thursdays at 6:00 PM) to teach essential life skills. We are also entering the second year of our Sisters of Hope mentoring program and would love for you to walk alongside a resident as a supportive friend.
• Share Our Mission: Simply passing this newsletter along to your neighbors, co-workers, or church group makes a difference and helps us expand our reach.
